Many real estate agents today are so focused on the negativity of today’s market, instead of going after the opportunities these conditions create. Some of the wealthiest people in real estate today started the process of investing all the way back in 2008 when things were rough. If we made the same moves and focused less on transactions, we’ll be massively successful in the next 10 years.

With rates going up, the pandemic slowing down and people returning to the office, the resort market has seen a significant shift. Many resort markets that were experiencing a boom a couple of years ago have seen a decline, but that doesn’t mean there are no opportunities for agents.
How did the pandemic directly impact both the resort and traditional markets? Is the real estate market going to boom again? What happens if we are faced with another wave of the pandemic? Are our businesses more prepared to handle a shift?
In this episode, musician, rockstar and Realtor Paul "Black" Marmorstein joins us to talk about what exactly is going on in the resort market. Gene also shares some active steps to take for those who want to break into a brand new market.

We've all seen countless ads and promos that claim to have the magic solution for improving our creditworthiness. Unfortunately, most of these claims are just smoke and mirrors.
Take Experian Boost, for example. It's marketed as a way to raise our credit score, but does it really deliver on that promise? The truth is Experian Boost may only impact free credit scores, which often aren't the scores that matter to lenders.
Could using Experian Boost also potentially damage our credit score? Why should we always read the fine print when it comes to credit score-boosting offers?
In this episode of the series with Author and Founder of Color My Credit, Alisa Glutz, we take a look at Experian Boost and other credit reporting software and bring truth to light on how it doesn’t actually help. Alisa also shares insight on a legitimate scoring model.
